LAN Device MAC Address
The device MAC (Media Access Control) address is a globally unique identifier assigned to network devices, and therefore it is often referred to as hardware or physical address.
Description | The physical address of the local network device that is presently connected to the subscriber’s gateway. When multiple, local network devices are present, the list of MAC addresses is comma delimited. |
Possible Values | Each network device has a completely unique identifier. The range of values for this field is therefore infinite. MAC addresses are 6-byte (48-bits) in length, and are written in MM:MM:MM:SS:SS:SS format. The first 3-bytes are ID number of the manufacturer, which is assigned by an Internet standards body. The second 3-bytes are serial number assigned by the manufacturer. |
LAN Device Manufacturer
Description | A human readable company name indicating the manufacturer of a LAN device that is connected to the subscriber’s gateway. When multiple LAN devices are connected, the list of manufacturer names is comma delimited. |
Possible Values | The past present and future variety of companies making network equipment is infinite thus, the potential contents of this field is unlimited. |
LAN Device Status
Description | Indicates the state (online or offline) of a local network device that is connected to the subscriber’s gateway. When multiple LAN devices are involved, the list of states is comma delimited. |
Possible Values |
true - The LAN device is online.
|
Available in Device Manager v10.0 and later.
LAN Device Wireless SSID
Description | Denotes which WiFi access point that each LAN Host is attached to. This will only have a value if the LAN Host is attached to the CPE using WiFi. |
Possible Values |
Anything permitted by the 802.11 standard for SSID names. When multiple LAN hosts are present, a comma delimited list of SSIDs is output. |
Example | XCI-c441,XCI-c441-5G |
LAN Device Wireless Uplink Rate
Description | The wireless uplink data rate between LAN Host and CPE. |
Possible Values |
1000 kbps to 4294967295 kbps No values will appear for LAN devices not connected to the CPE via WiFi. |
LAN Device Wireless Downlink Rate
Description | The wireless downlink data rate of LAN Host to CPE. |
Possible Values |
1000 kbps to 4294967295 kbps No values will appear for LAN devices not connected to the CPE via WiFi. |
LAN IPv4 Address
Description | The Local IP address for the gateway. When supported and multiple LAN interfaces are defined on the subscriber gateway, this will be a comma delimited list containing multiple IP addresses. One address per defined network. |
Possible Values | Standard four octet, IP address format: nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn |
Inform
An inform is the act of a managed device syncing with the ACS.
