Local Network IP Address
Use this feature to configure the local network DHCP settings as well as ________ for the subscriber's gateway device.
To access this feature, expand the Device Management section in the left navigation bar, then select Local Network IP Address.
DHCP Settings
Next configure the DHCP settings as needed. The following table defines each of the fields related to DHCP configuration.
FIELD NAME | DEFINITION |
DHCP Server Enabled | Check this box to turn on DHCP for this subscriber's gateway. Leave this box un-checked if you wish to configure each LAN device manually for LAN access. |
Gateway IP Address | Enter the local IP address for the gateway. Configure your client devices you wish to connect to this network with this address. |
Subnet Mask | Enter the subnet mask for the Gateway IP Address. |
DHCP Start IP Address | Enter the IP address for the beginning of the address range the gateway will issue to connected LAN devices. |
DHCP End IP Address | Enter the IP address for the end of the address range the gateway will issue to connected LAN devices. |
Complete all the fields, then select the Save button in the upper right to commit the changes.
Add LAN Address
When supported by the CPE device, the Add LAN Address will be present just below the DHCP Settings.
- If multiple LAN subnets are required, select the Add LAN Address button
- Enter the IP address for the additional subnet.
- Enter the Subnet mask for IP address entered in step #2.
- Select the Save button in the upper right to commit the changes.
