Reboot or Factory Default a CPE device
In the course of troubleshooting a subscriber's CPE device, remotely rebooting the device or even resetting it to factory defaults can be performed via Device Manager.
Reboot Device
To remotely reboot the device, perform the following steps:
- Search for the subscriber in question and display the account record.
- In the left navigation bar, expand the Device Management section
- Select Reboot Device.
- In the center pane to the right, check the Reboot device now check box.
- Select Save in the upper right.
Factory Default Device
To remotely reset the CPE device to factory defaults, perform the following steps:
- Search for the subscriber in question and display the account record.
- In the left navigation bar, expand the Expert section
- Select Factory Default Device.
- In the center pane to the right, check the Factory reset device now check box.
- Select Save in the upper right.
